YVote offers free, cohort-based programs that help high school students move from civic learning to action and leadership. Many programs include stipends or paid opportunities.

Planning to Apply to Democracy Camp?
Students must first apply to and be accepted into the New York City Summer Youth Employment Program before applying to YVote’s Democracy Camp.
YVote will offer information sessions and application-preparation support for students and families who need assistance with the SYEP process.

YVote works with high schools and educators to provide youth-led civic learning, leadership development, and meaningful opportunities for student action.
Partnerships may include cohort-based programs, workshops, student recruitment, Civic Readiness support, youth showcases, or other school-based experiences.

YVote partners with civic institutions, community organizations, government agencies, funders, and mission-aligned companies to expand access to civic learning and youth leadership.
